Turnista
about.
Turnista is a lightweight SaaS platform I started designing to address a clear gap in the market: helping independent fitness instructors easily manage their class schedule, and allowing students to book and track their attendance through a simple and mobile-first experience.
It is a project I initiated based on insights from the fitness community and discussions with instructors, many of whom struggle with fragmented tools or manual processes. While currently paused due to other professional commitments, the project reflects my product thinking and my ability to design scalable, user-centered experiences from the ground up.
challenge.
One of the key challenges in designing Turnista was serving two very different user types: instructors and students. Instructors needed flexibility and control to manage their classes and view attendance at a glance, while students expected a smooth, frictionless experience to discover, book and manage their classes on mobile.
Another important challenge was building a product that felt trustworthy and clear throughout the booking flow, ensuring both sides always had clarity on class availability and attendance status.
result.
I designed a clean, intuitive product experience that makes it easy for instructors to manage their schedule and students to quickly book and track classes. The UX is optimized for mobile-first use cases, while also providing a clear and simple desktop experience for instructors managing their business.
Although the project is not yet live, Turnista serves as a strong example of my ability to drive product thinking, UX design and cross-user journey alignment in the context of a real-world SaaS opportunity.
