Survey Builder & Data Collector

This project focused on the full journey of survey creation and delivery within an enterprise feedback platform — from setup to respondent experience.
I worked on both sides of the experience:
Survey Builder (Event Builder) → where admins configure surveys, audiences, and delivery settings
Data Collector → the interface where employees complete surveys across devices
The goal was to bring clarity, consistency, and usability to both ends — ensuring that what’s built is easy to configure and feels seamless to the end user.

Designing both the builder and the collector presented a unique set of challenges:
Builder (Admin-side)
The legacy interface was complex and overwhelming, with little guidance or hierarchy
Users had to manage logic-heavy configurations across multiple steps
There was no clear preview of how the final experience would look
Collector (Respondent-side)
The experience was functional but dated, and lacked visual consistency across devices
Needed to support many question types and logic paths, while staying accessible and easy to navigate
High-volume usage demanded performance, clarity, and minimal friction
results.
We approached the project holistically — aligning both experiences through a shared design language and a user-centered process:
Restructured the Event Builder flow to support clarity, progressive disclosure, and user confidence
Designed modular components that could scale across use cases
Developed a responsive, accessible Data Collector experience with consistent patterns and visual hierarchy
Ensured tight alignment between what admins configure and what respondents see
By designing both parts in parallel, we were able to simplify complexity on the backend and deliver a smooth, trustworthy experience on the frontend.
